Yayasan Perempuan dan Anak Negeri Banda Aceh (YPANBA) is a civil society organization established in 2007, working to advance just, inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable social change, with a particular focus on women, children, families, vulnerable groups, and communities.<\/p>\n

Grounded in the belief that every human being deserves equal dignity and rights, YPANBA is committed to strengthening the protection and fulfillment of rights, expanding safe spaces and meaningful participation, and fostering more just and inclusive societies and systems.<\/p>\n

To fulfill its mandate, YPANBA works across four key areas: the protection and fulfillment of the rights of women and children, and policy advocacy; mental health and family resilience; ecology, safe spaces, and women's and children's leadership; and humanitarian response and disaster preparedness.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

YPANBA advances its mission through community accompaniment, empowerment, education, community strengthening, research, policy advocacy, campaigns, and disaster response and recovery. Across all its work, YPANBA upholds the principles of equality, integrity, inclusivity, non-violence, diversity, and environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n

Through collaboration with communities, civil society organizations, government institutions, development partners, and other stakeholders, YPANBA continues to work towards building more self-reliant, equitable, safe, and sustainable societies.
